1 longboard wheel
The longboard wheel that I used to develop the Gugusse around has these specifications:
- Exterior: Cylindrical
- Height: 65mm (could be from 45mm to 65mm)
- Diameter: 75mm (could be from 65mm to 75mm)
- Inner diameter (shaft): 8mm
- Hardness(or should we say softness?): 73a (vendor wrote 73a, a sticker said 78a, which is true? I don't know but the lower the number the better it is)
The string to search on Ebay: 75mm Seismic 3DM Avila Wheels Clear Red 73a
- 1 x rod 4mm (0.157 inch) diameter, 15cm length (6 inches), hardened steel preferably.
- 12 x rods 8mm (0.315 inch) diameter, 15cm length (6 inches), any metal would do.
- 1 x rod 8mm (0.315 inch) diameter, 20cm length (8 inches), any metal would do. (if you have problems finding a 20cm, a 15cm would still do, it will just be a bit difficult to remove when the time comes to change film format, but still workable)
For 1 film width: (to choose between 35mm, 28mm, 16mm, 9.5mm or 8mm): 24 X 608ZZ ball bearings, 2 more if your longboard wheel needs them:
for each supplemental film width: add 16 more!

- 1 cut of 3 sections of 3 leds each (for the lightpipe lightsource)
- 6 cuts of 2 section of 3 leds each (order 6 x 1647-1030-1-ND from Digikey.com, it will come as one strip which you'll be able to cut accordingly)
- 1 x Old computer power supply, it has to have at least 2 connectors (Female 4 pins to fit the above A1212-ND connector above) Available in someone's attic near you.
- 1 x pad of matte archival polyester film (artists' supplies stores)
- 2 x optical sensor (new for Compact), Digikey part # Z3028-ND
